The Inn at Duck Creeke Reviews

Revisited this lovely old captain's house inn after a few years and found things even better than before! The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable...many have been spruced up since my last visit. The staff was full of local knowledge and kind enough to let me look around at rooms in the Saltworks and Carriage Houses, as I am looking for a group visit in the Fall. The gardens and grounds have gotten a facelift while keeping the lovely old trees and the pond is always a pleasure...osprey and of course DUCKS. The Tavern featured a variety of items on the menu and folks from children to grandparents all seemed to be enjoying their fare. The seafood is fabulous and the atmosphere is casual and fun. Lots of locals hanging out to enjoy live music - not loud rock, but cool jazz - just my style. I found the Inn at Duck Creeke, once again, a refreshing alternative to the stale environs of a motel or the stuffy attitude of the fancy places now springing up all over the lower cape. It is comfortable, friendly and provides a great place to explore from - minutes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking, Mass Audubon for bird watching, National Seashore for beaches, and a lovely stroll to Wellfleet Harbor.
