Circa 1888. Set on a slope wooded with huge copper beech trees in an exclusive hillside neighborhood, is a Queen Anne with a three-story turret and six shades of fresh Victorian color. In the library a lavishly carved mahogany fireplace is flanked by built-in-bookcases with decorative columns and egg-and-dart and dentil designs. The Turret Suite, a favorite guest room, is furnished with an Empire sofa and secretary, and a Victorian love seat. Just beyond the veranda perennial gardens dot the landscape.
