Innkeeper Note
Snowflake epitomizes small town America. Founded in the 1870's by Mormon Pioneers, unique to Arizona in that the town boasts multiple historical homes that can be toured. Built in the Victorian style, with red brick and white picket fences. Snowflake is in the foothills of the White Mountains at an elevation of 5600 ft, located close to Show Low & Pinetop/Lakeside to the South & Holbrook & the I-40 to the North. Summer activities in the area are fishing, hiking, antiquing, golfing, horseback riding or just relaxing in the hammock under the apple trees. A visit to the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert nearby are also great year round activities. Sunrise Ski area is closeby for skiing in the Winter, along with cross country skiing, snowmobiling and other winter sports. Many festivals abound in the area, at all times of the year, Pioneer Days in late July is just a blast, as are the Taylor Sweet Corn Festival, Trapper Days, Harvest Festivals & The 12 Days of Christmas. If your goal is to get away from the crowds and escape the heat of Phoenix or Tucson, we are a great option.

“A Bit Of History!”
Monty and P.J. CWe stayed here in 2011. It is beautiful, quaint, clean, well manicured and centrally located. The rooms give you the feeling of living in the past with all the antiques. We were treated like royalty and still make the "German Babies" from the recipe!! There is so much history, in not only the Inn, but in the area surrounding it. You will feel welcome from the time you walk in the door...til the time you leave...and even after...with the email updates. The prices are right, too. What a romantic getaway!

“Heritage Haven”
Naomi CPlacitas, NM
Our stay occurred recently and it was a wonderful stay. The property was well kept and beautiful. The room we stayed in was precious and cozy. Most of all, the owners,Craig and JoAnne, were delightful, pleasant and good cooks. We felt like we were at "home" even though we were away from home. This inn will not disappoint. So glad we found it!

“Relaxing”
Dana DWe just spent a wonderful two nights with Craig and JoAnne. Beautiful grounds, lovely fountains, and fantastic food. As this was our first time visiting this area, they were both very helpful in planning our time with things we liked to do. We really enjoyed our evenings on the beautiful patio with a glass of wine and visiting with them. The Inn is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it.
