Circa 1904. Centrally located in scenic New England, this Queen Anne is a grand example of a typical Victorian-era home. Stained-glass windows, oak woodwork, chandeliers and hardwood floors all add to the historic charm. Bedchambers in the main house and two carriage house suites are furnished with antiques, candles, personal spa amenities and plush towels. Several rooms feature bronze-engraved fireplaces. Locally grown produce and high-quality meats from Edwards of Surrey, Virginia are used to make a gourmet breakfast of homemade scones or baked goods, eggs Benedict, potato cakes with warm apple sauce, asparagus frittata, crispy bacon and gruyere omelets, tipsy orange French toast and apple pecan pancakes. “Best scones I've ever had!”

Where can you find a spacious, beautiful room, free wifi, air conditioning, and the best breakfast you'll ever eat? The Henry Whipple House! I stayed with my 9 year old son for four nights. He's a picky eater and she made chocolate chip pancakes just for him. The location is great for visiting Meredith or even the NH theme parks. You would easily pay double the price in Meredith for an Inn this nice. Oh and those scones -- a different kind every morning, blueberry, maple walnut, Ginger pecan. Sandra, the Inn Kerper, does a fantastic job.

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.

InnSide Tip - Dip your toes in the Pemi

There is a spot near the Inn under a bridge where you can sit on rocks and dip your feet in the Pemi river. We saw deer there one morning. One more tip-- the Weaving Room is great for families.

Had a great time at the Whipple House! Breakfast was extraordinary! Rooms were huge and comfortable! Really felt at home! Such a nice place to stay and everything was truly wonderful!

My husband and I have stayed at the Henry Whipple House several times in the last year. The inn is creatively restored and furnished in a style which contributes to an overall sense of warmth and nostalgia. No details are overlooked and there is privacy if you wish it. Sandra is also a wonderful cook. We have never been disappointed.

Minimum Stay Requirements:	Two nights minimum stay on most weekends
Cancellation:	14 days notice for full refund less a $15 service charge
Pets:	Innkeepers pets on premises.
Smoking:	Smoke Free Property.
