The Harbor House Inn
5600 S Hwy 1Elk, CA 95432
Circa 1916. The Harbor House Inn rests on a cliff overlooking Greenwood Cove and the Pacific Ocean. Built by a lumber company for executives visiting from the East, the inn is constructed entirely of redwood. All of the antique-filled guest rooms include a fireplace, and some have decks with spectacular ocean views. Guests are treated to both a full breakfast as well as an award winner four-course dinner. A path winds through the inn's gardens down to a private beach below.
