Circa 1780. Step back in time and experience authentic New England in this 18th-century farmhouse retreat with year-round horseback riding. The inn offers public stables on 70 scenic acres of forest and pastureland along the Saco River. Surrounded by panoramic mountain views, it was a 1771 land grant from King George III of England. The estate has been passed down in one family for seven generations. Enjoy a blend of old-fashioned character and luxury amenities. Each room is decorated in a classic style and some have a two-person Jacuzzi and/or fireplace. Two-room family suites and a four-bedroom cottage are also available. A fireside, or patio breakfast is included overlooking the perennial gardens, horses and White Mountains. Explore this family estate by horseback, or a romantic Victorian sleigh ride for two. Take a carriage ride to experience a kaleidoscope of crimson colors with mature maple sugar forests along the Saco River. There are wagon and pony rides too. Off the beaten path, it is two miles from North Conway Village center.

A newly renovated (2010)- 4 bedroom year-round cottage in an alpine-moose/lodge theme. It has a max. of 8 people. It has 2 bedrooms downstairs with a king in one bedroom and a room with 2 twins in the other. There is a 2- person jacuzzi bathroom with shower downstairs. Up stairs is a master bedroom with a king bed as well as a bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is a shower bath upstairs. All rooms have views to the mountains or stable horses. It has a living room with a gas fireplace, cable TV/DVD; Free wireless internet access, full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, electric stove with oven, microwave, blender & refrigerator. It has a year-round sun porch with great views to the horses, and Cathedral and White Horse Ledge famous for rock & ice climbing.
