The Fan House

To travel these three thousand miles and met someone who grew up in my neighborhood over 5 decades ago is amazing. The reminiscing of common memories was wonderful. Thank you for accepting us.

As always, my time at the Fan House has been restful, delicious and full of engaging conversation. You are an artful and thoughtful host who manages the balance between giving your guests privacy and making them feel welcome and home. I look forward to my next visit.

What a beautiful house you have here! My family and I lived here 30 years ago! My parents, sister and brother moved to Vermont when I was 14/15 years old. We lived in this house for one year. A lot is the same … and you have improved it dramatically.

Thank you so much for everything. Finding this place was perfect. Even though it was last minute and what I needed was a shower & bed, you made it seem like I was part of your family. I enjoyed my stay very much and will be back in Sept for my friend’s wedding. We have enjoyed our stay here immensely. Your home is very cozy. We felt as if we were staying with family. We enjoyed our journey up to Montreal and Burlington, VT. Best of luck to the town of Barnard as they recover from the Hurricane (Irene). This is a lovely, quaint town that provides a great safe haven to travelers escaping their corporate lives. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us for a two-night stay. We appreciated greatly your hospitality in collecting us from the Lebanon airport and taking us to pick up our car for the beginning of our VT/NH leg of the trip.
