Circa 1812. For many years this historic Colonial was used as a summer home. Some of the inn's antiques were the original furnishings, including a Louis XIV couch, Chickering grand piano, fainting couch, four-poster bed and marble-top dresser. Relax in the keeping room by a roaring fire, where the previous owners did the cooking. Several guest bedrooms feature working fireplaces. A customized breakfast menu is savored by candlelight and classical music. Half of the three acres feature perennial and bulb gardens, as well as wild blackberries and blueberries. Sip a cold beverage in a rocking chair on the side porch.
