Circa 1910. The Davie School Inn celebrates its rich history as an Illinois schoolhouse through its beautiful decor and architecture. The eleven spacious and airy suites feature a variety of romantic hideaways and family friendly loft style rooms which sleep up to 5 guests, each with its own private bath. Guests will appreciate a private breakfast each morning, brought to their suite at a time of their choosing. One of the largest bed and breakfasts in Illinois, the inn is centrally located near all of the activities this beautiful area has to offer; hiking, fishing, shopping, historical sites, wine tasting, and much more.

The Black Suite

This is a wonderful Suite with space to move and room to breath. Located in Anna, Illinois. Just below Carbondale, Illinois and SIU campus near the Shawnee National Forest and Cache River Basin.

Located on the Upper Level with a view of the Park Lake Sleeps up to 4 people. Children over 12 years of age are welcome in this School Room Suite.

The Green Suite

Located on the lower level overlooking the Anna Park Lake, the Green Suite has everything for a family weekend. We call this suite our Family/Ladies night out suite because it is set up to sleep 5 people. The Green Suite is decorated in green and blue, has a King size bed, a Full size bed, and a Twin bed. You and your family and friends can read a book on the couch or play a game of cards on the antique table and chairs.

Located on the Upper Level Decorated in Whites and Neutrals

The Pink Suite

Located on a different level than all the other suites Decorated in Greens and Neutrals. This Suite was built as a classroom from 1954.

The Purple Wine Suite

Located in a quiet end of the building. This classroom one of our best suites in the school house.

The Red Suite

Located on the lower level and over looking the Anna Park and you can wake up to beautiful Southern Illinois the sunrise. The Red Suite has a spacious king size bed with an additional twin bed, for that afternoon nap. The ornate Victorian couch is perfect for afternoon tea, or sit at the antique table and discuss the events of the day.

Located on the Upper Level Decorated in Whites and Neutrals

Type of bed: 

The Yellow Suite

Located on the lower level on the front side of the building. The Yellow Suite has the generous sized king, queen and a twin bed. The Yellow Suite is also furnished with many antiques, from the antique rocking chair to the antique china cabinet along with a unique steamer trunk. There is a table and chairs for breakfast or that late night fresh cup of coffee. Have your picture taken sitting in the old style desk, or write a postcard to your family and friends.
