Innkeeper Note
508 Canal Street, in addition to being selected by the Landmark Preservation Society as one of New York's treasures, is a very important space to us as well. It has served us as a family space, a place of business, and the nest in which family members have nurtured various creative endeavors. Currently, Kipp is running a theater on the ground floor: but in this building, Kipp and Margot have also designed and built hundreds of pieces of furniture. Through a combination of Kipp and Margot's classic design sensibility and the sheer beauty of the space itself, we are constantly hearing from guests how joyful and welcoming the building feels. We hope to provide a peaceful and pleasant home away from home to anyone who stays with us.
