Circa 1887. Each of the five guest rooms at this Queen Anne "Painted Lady" is filled with plants and antiques from around the world. The Sterling Room, a large octagon-shaped chamber, features a hand-carved mahogany canopy bed. The Morrow Room boasts a 100-year-old sleigh bed and an antique clawfoot tub with a shower. Three of the guest baths offer whirlpool tubs. Bon Appetit featured BonnyNook as part of an article on bed & breakfasts. The hearty breakfasts feature such notable items as blueberry pudding coffeecake or Southern crepes filled with vegetables and eggs. Innkeeper Bonnie Franks keeps a special Coffee Nook filled with teas, coffee, hot cocoa and a refrigerator for her guests. Don't forget to ask about the inn's special cookies. BonnyNook is only two blocks from antique shops, boutiques and restaurants. Gourmet, six-course meals are available by reservation. Massage also is available by reservation.
