The Banner Elk Inn B&B and Cottages

We enjoyed our few days at the Banner Elk Inn so much. We enjoyed our lovely room, the food was wonderful, and the conversations with new and instant friends were great! We all love North Carolina now. Banner Elk Inn just made it perfect as we celebrated our Scottish Heritage at Grandfather Mountain. Our short stay definitely turned into something special.

It had such warm hospitality and delicious breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful and homey inn. We'll definitely recommend The Banner Elk Inn to friends and I'm sure we'll be back!

The Banner Elk is such a lovely Bed and Breakfast and far saving our lives. We'll definitely be back some time, I can't wait!

We had such a wonderful time at the inn! Sometimes "Inns" can be a bit much but everything they have created from the refined decor to the excellent breakfasts made our stay a pleasurable and memorable experience. Randy was able to relax there and enjoy the company which he can't always do. The animals there are so sweet. They do make it a home. There is no doubt that the Banner Elk Inn will have continued success with it's gracious hospitality.

It was such a beautiful vacation. The warmth and hospitality made it all the more pleasurable. I truly miss the house and it's surroundings, especially my bed there. I hope to return soon in the near future.

It was such a blessing to get engaged at the Banner Elk. What a romantic house and what privacy. That was very important for us as we were pretty much bombarded by wedding plans as soon as we got back to Greensboro. So it was nice to get adjusted to the idea of being engaged before heading back. We both finally regained our appetites- we regret not having been able to eat as much of the delicious food.

We enjoyed out stay very much and we plan to be back whenever time permits. We had such wonderful breakfasts and advice on what to go see.

My husband, James, and I really enjoyed our stay at the inn. The hospitality and the warmness that we felt when we were there will stay with us for a long time. With everyone's hectic lifestyles sometimes it is just nice to enjoy the simple things life has to offer. Your breakfast each morning started our day out right. We can't wait to come back soon.

My husband and I enjoyed out stay at the Banner Elk Inn. The hospitality, the accommodations, and of course, the wonderful breakfasts all contributed to make our little getaway everything we had hoped it would be. We think the Inn is as charming as the innkeeper/owner. We had two great days of hiking, shopping, dining, and enjoying ourselves. We came back refreshed, knowing in the back of our minds that "we'll be back!"

It is a rare inn that I would say I would not change a single thing. I have been coming to Banner Elk Inn for over three years now. I only wish that I were able to stay longer each visit- to enjoy the heavenly breakfasts and the gorgeous mountain scenery and clean and fresh mountain air! There is such an artistic flair to every aspect of the inn and the breakfasts are absolutely delicious and served elegantly on fine china. Last fall I decided to stay at the Banner Elk on three different trips to see the beginning, middle, and end of the fall season. The sunset and the magnificent fall colors were the highlight of the season.

We wish to come back soon to the warmth of the fireplace and the hospitality of Banner Elk after a day in the mountains. It is a relaxing and stimulating experience to stay at the inn. It is a treat to stay here.
