Charming with homey elegance

This place is the essence of the expectation of the B&B experience. Beautiful setting, simply yet elegant accommodations. The Bartlett family are the perfect hosts. The farm is a work in progress with farm animals that can include, but not limited too, fallow deer, cows, bunnies, chickens, ginnea fowl, etc. The wrap around porch, complete with a swing, is comfortable and inviting on a seasonal evening for your quiet enjoyment. Diane is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts are to-die-for. Frittatas/eggs, meat, fruit, breadbasket, nice selection of teas/coffees. All farm fresh. If you're lucky she will test a new bake goodie on you for future customers. Full breakfasts on the weekend with continental/plus on weekdays. Most of CT is less than 2 hours of this location making it perfect for sight-seeing.
