This gracious village estate, comprised of three houses and a restored carriage barn, sits on 3+ acres of beautiful gardens featuring a gazebo and water garden. Gracious hosts and innkeepers, Elizabeth and husband Eric Berger, and their friendly, helpful staff are eager to make your visit enjoyable. Your greeting at the inn will be warm and cheerful. The innkeepers and their staff are pleased to help map out itineraries for shopping, walking, biking or driving. They also can point you to great local attractions, antique shops and out-of-the-way sights. Eric, also our Chef, will start your morning with a full, cooked-to-order country breakfast, preparing you for your day's activities. Upon your return, you'll find delightful homemade afternoon refreshments for your enjoyment. The evening offers a fabulous four-course candlelight dinner complimented by the Inn's extensive wine list. Nestled in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont between Bennington and Manchester, the Inn is close enough to all activities and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to have a quiet, relaxing, and romantic visit.
