Description
Circa 1730. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Nanticoke River and marshes while staying at this restored Colonial tavern. Authenticated colors and stark white lime, sand and hair plaster accent the carved details of the woodwork. The inn boasts six fireplaces including the cooking hearth in the cellar. Great place!
My boyfriend and I went here for the weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was wonderful. Harvey and Elise are a delightful and interesting couple. They have done a lot of living and have such interesting tales to tell. The house is beautiful, as was our room. The breakfast was great! wonderful fresh fruit and pastries. Elise made a breakfast casserole with shrimp on Sunday that was delicious.
Overall a great experience!
