Maybe not for the romantic

Nice place, It's haunted, along with other locations in Bay Port.

Haunted Weekend

We went and stayed with friends at the Inn. It was very clean and Julie (the owner) was very nice, had loads of stories to share about the hauntings if you were interested and made really good hot breakfasts. The haunting experience was amazing. We got lots of pictures and had lots of group and personal experiences with the ghots. We will all definitely be going back & would highly suggest trying it out if you are looking for a paranormal experience.

Homey, Relaxed, Friendly, Fun

Love this place. My wife and I stayed at Sweet Dreams together, and I stayed there solo once. Both times were very relaxing and enjoyable. Yes, this house is haunted, but we never felt afraid in spite of our personal experiences with the ghost(s). Neither did my aunt and uncle, who stayed there as well, and were amazed when they encountered a ghost in their room. We didn't feel any fear--you're just kind of like, wow, did that really happen? The atmosphere of the house, thanks in large part to the wonderful host Julie, is very warm and relaxed, no pretentiousness or over-the-top attention. Julie respects your privacy and is a joy to talk to during breakfast or when you bump into her coming and going. The location was rural, near a scenic bay, and close to Caseville/Bayport, where there are a decent amount of recreational activities nearby, especially during the summer, when you can bicycle, hike, and kayak all over the area. I definitely recommend Sweet Dreams B&B.

Peaceful & Relaxing

Been to the Inn twice and have enjoyed it both times. The area is quiet...almost like a ghost town, seems that there is never anyone around. Beautiful view of Lake Huron and great fishing very close by. The house is beautiful and decorated to match the era, very comfortable. It is known to be haunted, which is what attracted me to it in the first place. I have definitely been intrigued by things I've seen and heard while staying there. Most of all, Julie (the Innkeeper), is very welcoming and very informative of the area and the history of the Inn. Love this place!!!

Lovely!

Stayed one night a week for about 10 weeks; I can't say enough good things about it! Felt like home, nice scenery, and the house was very interesting! I wish I had one just like it! Loved my stay and had a wonderful time! ^___^
