Located at the foot of Sunlight Mountain Resort Ski Area, this lodge provides cozy guest rooms decorated in a casual Western style. One room has a fireplace and whirlpool tub. Four Mile Creek runs through the property, which is located at 8,000 feet. The inn originally was known as the Apple Inn and was built by a prominent local citizen, instrumental in the development of the nearby Sunlight Ski Area. A full breakfast, including such items as blueberry pancakes, haystack eggs or perhaps an apple dish is served in the inn's dining room, which overlooks the ski area. During the winter season, dinner is served. The inn's cuisine is American country -- Western style. The inn has an outdoor hot tub. Snowmobiling and horseback riding excursions are available nearby. The inn is 12 miles from a renown hot springs.
