Anniversary weekend

I found the Stone Gables while searching for a b&b around Cleveland. I wanted to try something different and decided not to just do the usual hotel stay. We've never done a b&b before and now we are spoiled. The Stone Gables is a beautiful, interesting, and well run place. It is (Very) near downtown Cleveland (Ohio City) but you don't feel like you're downtown. The immediate neighborhood is nice and fairly quite. The house itself is nicely decorated and very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great (eggs Benedict for me). Fresh cut fruit, coffee, tea, fresh squeezed oj. All made by the proprietor himself. Also had nice conversation with him while eating. He is more than willing to talk about the house, business, Ohio City,.... Very nice guy. You COULD walk to West Side Market though if you're bringing things back it'd be better to drive. Great stay and we now plan to go back again for two nights and NO plans do anything other than relax.

Great B&B

My family and I stsyed at the Stone Gables during our recent trip to Cleveland. It is conveniently located a short drive from downtown and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The home is beautifully furnished and maintained. Our host was very nice, and stayed late on the night of our arrival to meet us. Breakfasts were freshly made and very good.

First time B&B experience

This was a first time stay at a Bed & Breakfast for both my fiance and me. Stone Gables has converted us from hotel stayers to B&Bs. Richard is a fantastic host with detailed offerings such as an assortment of snacks and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (thank you!). He opened his refrigerator to his guests & even made available his selection of wine, which perfectly completed our romantic night. Richard is a fantastic cook and very accommodating and personable. I would absolutely recommend Stone Gables.
