Thank you

Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the rooms, the surrounding, and especially the breakfast! And thank you for being very friendly and honest hosts - your motto is true: "enter as strangers - leave as friends"....we feel the same way. Yours sincerely.

Honored!

We were absolutely honored to be your first guests! Our stay was fabulous! We have never been to the Lancaster area and we fell as though our stay here made our trip complete. Every detail of our stay was amazing. From the decor, the refreshments and everything in between this place exudes family and warmth. Thank you again for such great memories of time spent with family and friends, new and old that will remain with us for a lifetime.

Fabulous!

Thank you so much for your hospitality. This was the first time that Fed & I stayed at a BnB. You've made our stay so pleasurable that I'm sure we'll try it again if only to see if others compare. Our extended family from Michigan & Florida came to celebrate the first birthday of Wesley, our grandson. By filling all your rooms, we recreated a holiday far from home. Thanks again!

Wonderful!

What a wonderful time we had in the 4 days we spent at this B&B! Everything was great. Ginger and Sam are a delightful couple who truly have servant hearts. Both have Amish roots and are very willing to share information and answer questions about the Amish culture. They also shared many ideas of places to visit in the area. I was very impressed that the first thing Ginger did when we arrived was to take time to give us a tour of this historic home and explain some of the history of the house. I was fascinated by the "secret" in the Freedom Room. Really brings those history lessons to life! The breakfasts were delicious every day. Ginger makes her own bread, cinnamon buns and many other dishes which are outstanding. Over the 4 days we had a great variety of foods, including some Amish favorites. If you are a coffee drinker, you will love their coffee maker from Switzerland which is available to guests at all times. We stayed in the Colonial Room and loved it. The bed slept great, wonderful sheets and towels - and they smell so good! We were able to see all the rooms over our stay when they were not occupied. They are all beautiful! The B&B sits back from the road, so there is no traffic noise. There is an Amish farm next door. We often saw the children outside playing. Ginger and Sam are new owners of this B&B. They have worked very hard the past few months to make sure every guest will have a pleasant experience. The room was wonderful, the food great, but probably our favorite thing about our stay was the time we spent with Ginger, Sam and the other guests - great memories!

New Friends

We visited this home in beautiful Lancaster County and have made new friends! Ginger & Sam were outstanding hosts and upon arrival, we were given a tour of their lovely home. They each have Amish roots and we were fortunate to meet Sam's Amish parents. We had been "warned" by Sam's father that we were going to love Ginger's breakfasts. Well stated, and both mornings we thoroughly enjoyed every dish she added to the table, complete with dessert. The inn was spotless, the hosts very knowledgeable and the wealth of information of the area and the Amish culture were much appreciated. We have stayed in B & Bs from coast to coast and also a few in Germany and Sam & Ginger's Stoltzfus Bed and Breakfast is now at the top of our list. When we entered this home, we thought it was a bit bold for such a young couple to have a large sign "enter as strangers, leave as friends". It only took a short time to see why this sign was so true. Thanks so much. Don & June

Hospitality Galore

Stayed 2 nights with our friends in this historic home. Hosts Ginger and Sam made us feel at home, shared stories and provided us with maps and directions to see and do in the Amish and Mennonite area of Lancaster County. Breakfasts and a 24-hour coffee and tea setup were super great as were the comfortable rooms. We've been staying at B&Bs together over 25 years and we put this visit way at the top.

Excellent B & B

This was my idea of a perfect getaway. Our room , and bed, were so comfortable--and spotless. Loved the fireplace on the cool nights. The history of the Mansion was well documented and most interesting. Each breakfast was delectable and the presentation was perfect. Ginger and Sam have made their home into a B & B where anyone would be comfortable. They are the perfect host and hostess and we enjoyed spending time with them.

Serene Farmland

I went on a long weekend trip with my parents in October 2014. We stayed in the Farmview Suite. The 3rd floor was very quiet, as there was no one above us. Sam and Ginger were the best hosts! We have not been B&B people previously, but they may have changed our minds. They made a great breakfast and we all had lovely conversation with the other guests around their large dining table. It is not close to other businesses (or restaurants as we found out when we checked in and then went to try and find dinner...), but if you are looking to get away this is a great place!
