Circa 1870. This child-friendly gem in Newburgh, New York, overlooks the Hudson River and boasts original tapestries and period furniture and sits in the historic district of town. A brick Victorian, it was originally the home of the Erie Railroad president. Now you can wake each morning in a comfortable guest room with river views. Spend a day at Dia:Beacon, the world's largest contemporary art museum. The country's largest sculpture garden is also nearby at Storm King Art Center. Beau Rivage is very spacious with a queen-sized bed and twin sleeper sofa. It offers both a fireplace and large, private enclosed sun porch with twin daybed, porch swing, and sweeping Hudson River views. It is located on the second floor and has a private bath.
With spectacular Hudson River views from a private, third-floor outdoor deck, Ferry Crossing is a very popular room. It has a king-sized bed and twin daybed and private bath.
The Queen Anne room has a queen-sized bed and twin daybed. It is on the second floor with a fireplace and Hudson River views to the east and north. Queen Anne can be booked with either a private bath or a shared bath at a lower rate.
Bridge View is a large room on the third floor with two full-sized beds. It features Hudson River views and a private bath.
Castle Island is a very sweet room with a queen-sized bed and seasonal river views. Located on the second floor, it is our least expensive room. Castle Island can be booked with either a shared bath or a private bath which is downstairs on the first floor.
