My husband booked a special "romance package" for my birthday. We arrived to a beautiful room where the sheets had been turned down and sprinkled with rose petals! A fruit, cheese, and cracker tray along with a chilled bottle of wine were waiting as well! Our room had it's own private entrance for coming and going as we pleased. Breakfast was served to our room the next morning, we declined the choice to join the other guests at breakfast in the lovely dining room. Food was excellent! Highly recommended! Can't wait to go back!

The gated entrance near the road is a reminder that this large Spanish-style hacienda was once a Civil War stockade. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as an archeological site. ...

Stockade Bed & Breakfast
Stacey BStockade Bed & Breakfast
Robbie MeekMy husband and I had the most delightful stay at the Stockade! I have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts and this is the best! From the moment I walked through the door I felt the comfort of home. The Stockade is a beautifully detailed spacious home with fine furniture, and warm southern hospitality. We stayed in the Blue room. This is a large second floor room with warm inviting colors, large windows, and a private balcony with great views of stately old trees and lovely landscaping. The bed was perfect, fine linens, towels, and great Louisiana coffee! The Location of the Inn is close to LSU on Highland Road with many other lovely southern homes. We thank you Janice!
