Circa 1875. For more than 50 years this historic family-run lodge has offered warmth and hospitality in a cozy and home-away-from-home farm-like setting. Situated on an acre and a half, the back of the property borders a large pond. Gracing the heart of Lake Placid, numerous activities are all within 10-minutes. Play games or watch TV in the sitting room or relax on the front porch. Business facilities are available and there is a barbecue grill outside. Stay in pleasing accommodations in an inviting guest room in the main house; spacious luxury, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces and decks in The Westcotts townhouses; or a self-contained cottage with fireside living room, dining room and kitchen. A continental breakfast for all but cottage guests includes hot and cold cereals, breads and beverages.
