Bartram Suite
With six windows and garden views, the First Floor Bartram Suite is so quiet that
all you’ll hear are the birds singing. Named after the first US botanist, Philadelphian
John Bartram, the bedroom has a queen bed and full bath. The sitting room features
a kitchenette and sofa bed, making it an ideal retreat for friends or family traveling
together. Maximum occupancy is four people.
Eakins Library
The First Floor Eakins Library honoring gifted artist, Thomas Eakins, features
high ceilings, chandeliers, the original working fireplace and floor-to-ceiling library
shelves. Five large windows provide fresh air and restful views of the garden. Queen and single beds, kitchenette, and private bath and shower complete your room.
Maximum occupancy is three people.
Audubon Queen Suite
The Audubon Queen Suite is named after the renowned artist and naturalist, James Audubon. It features an antique rosewood queen bed and a large walk-in closet. The sitting room has a generous sofa that converts to a queen bed making this suite perfect if you’re traveling with friends or family. Maximum occupancy is four people.
Billie Holiday
The Billie Holiday Room is named after the pioneering jazz vocalist, also known as Lady Day, who was born in Philadelphia. While you’re in town, you can visit her home. This room honoring Billie has a king size bed plus roll-away twin and large windows overlooking the garden. Maximum occupancy is three people.
J.S. Singer Deluxe Suite
The J.S. Singer Deluxe Suite, honoring the famous Philadelphia artist, John Singer Sargent, is a spacious and elegant retreat featuring a hand-carved Indonesian queen bed, original chandelier and fireplace, a new bathroom and a kitchen with all the amenities. Maximum occupancy is two people.
Tiffany-Parrish
The Tiffany-Parrish Room is an exquisite little jewel featuring a crystal chandelier, Oriental rugs, original fireplace and an antique rosewood bed. It commemorates the 1916 mural called “Dream Garden” produced by Tiffany Studios and artist Maxfield Parrish. Made of 100,000 pieces of glass, the mural can be seen at the Curtis Building. Maximum occupancy is two people.
