Circa 1920. The six-acre grounds at this bed & breakfast include acres of spruce trees, and the property is surrounded by a Christmas tree farm. In addition to the spruce trees, the grounds are decorated with gardens and shaded by maple trees, fitted with hammocks and swings. The cozy ranch home was built in the 1920s and features an eclectic mix of antiques and other comfortable furnishings. The innkeeper provides a hearty country breakfast each morning with items such as Finnish pancakes, baked apple cinnamon French toast or perhaps potato pancakes. The home is minutes from downtown Saugatuck and the shores of Lake Michigan. Other attractions include a variety of golf courses, a historic steamship, biking, cross-country skiing, galleries, shopping and a winery.
