Historic Interest
Over a century ago, pioneer John Spicer, the innkeeper's great grandfather, built a home on Green Lake now called the Spicer Castle. State of the art in its time, you can now get a sense of things a hundred years past. Furnishings in the Spicer are those used by the family as they enjoyed the tranquility of this fine old lake home.

We enjoyed the room because it overlooked the lake. The bed was comfy and the whirlpool relaxing. The big towels by the whirlpool where nice as were the chocolates on the desk. We enjoyed our 25th anniversary.

This is our first bed & breakfast stay - thank you for such an amazing time! We loved the cottage. Getting to relax out in front of the cottage asu the sunset on a beautiful view of Green Lake! We enjoyed walking the grounds and reading the history of the Spicer Castle. Your staff is to be commended on a wonderful job! We'll be back.

Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The murder mystery dinner was delicious and the mystery itself was great fun! You run a nice place here.

This place is a Dirty Rundown Dump.. There Website is very misleading. When we pointed this out and refused to stay. they refused to refund our money. There are plenty of other High Quality B&B's to stay at... This one is not it! How uninviting, no place to sit at night, but some old woodedn tables. rooms are small and dirty. Please trust me on this one.
