Circa 1913. Located just two blocks off the illustrious Country Club Plaza, this four-star inn blends classic New England B&B ambience with small hotel amenities. Paired glass doors flank the foyer and original stair designs and fireplaces have been restored. Each of the inn's twelve guest rooms include private baths, and each has something special. Eight guest rooms include treetop decks. Fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs are other possibilities. Guests staying in the carriage house enjoy a Jacuzzi, fireplace and deck. In the afternoon, guests are pampered with wine and hors d'oeuvres. Guests are invited to enjoy privileges at a Plaza athletic club. Explore the elegant shops that line the Plaza or visit Crown Center, an elaborate enclosed area featuring specialty shops and gourmet restaurants. The inn is a four-block walk from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Cancellation:	Advance reservations are required and are secured with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express). A $20 service charge is placed on the card for cancellations occurring eight (8) or more days before the reservation date. Cancellations seven (7) or fewer days before the reservation date result in a 50% forfeiture (one-half the cost of all nights reserved). Same day cancellations and "no-show" reservations will be charged at 100% unless they can be re-booked. Group or special event reservations are subject to a 50% forfeiture for all rooms and dates canceled up to eight (8) days prior to the reservation, and to a 100% forfeiture for cancellation with notice of SEVEN OR LESS days. If the room can be re-booked, there is only a $20 handling fee per room.
