My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at the Inn; the house is beautiful and very authentic! Breakfast was filling and delicious, and we left feeling pampered and content. I look foward to returning, and would reccomend it to anyone seeking a relaxed and very romantic experience.

Built in the 1870s, the two-acre grounds bloom with informal gardens in the heart of historic Shenandoah Valley, just two hours from Washington, DC. Romantic guest bedrooms with fireplaces are pampering retreats. Sleep in a four-poster canopy bed and soak in a clawfoot tub. Lunch is rarely needed after an incredible breakfast that may start with fresh peaches and lavender honey or warm apple tart with cheese. Blueberry pancakes, lemon waffles, herb omelettes and cheese soufflés are favorite entrees. Baked goods are hot from the oven and topped with homemade jams and syrups. Fruit sorbet tops off the meal.
