Solomon Mier Manor Bed Breakfast

508 South Cavin Street
Ligonier, IN 46767-1802
United States of America
Innkeeper(s): Amanda Moser

Circa 1899. This turn-of-the-century Queen Anne-Italianate manor boasts hand-painted ceilings, intricate woodwork and stained-glass windows. The ornate carved staircase is especially appealing with its staircase library. Antiques fill the guest rooms and common areas. The home is eligible to be on the National Register and originally was home to Solomon Mier, one of the area's first Jewish residents who came to the Ligonier area in search of religious tolerance and word of the railroad to come. Guests will find many areas of interest, such as the Shipshewana Flea Market & Auction and the on-site antique shop.
