Stayed at Snow Goose Inn, because we had a wedding right across the street. Best thing about this inn is that it's VERY pet friendly, with I believe two pet friendly rooms on premises. For those of you who need your babies with you, Snow Goose in the place for you.

Cyndee and Ron, the innkeepers, welcome you to their warm and romantic inn located just down the road from Mount Snow and a few minutes from Stratton. I have been going to this inn for over 20 years now (way back it was called the Sheild Inn)and the inn has been continually updated to it's current cozy atmosphere. The rooms are well decorated, spotless and the property overall is very well maintained. There are tons of games to play by the fire place in the living room, or you can cozy up with a book from their library in front of your own private fireplace in some rooms. The food...it is outstanding. Local, real Vermont ingredients prepared expertly to create flavorful and beautifully plated dishes. Cyndee and her staff offer a wide variety of items and have been very accomodating with any special requests we had. More than just a cozy place to sleep, and some great grub in the morning, the best part of the Snow Goose Inn are the innkeepers, Cyndee and Ron. They have been extraordinary in recommending secret spots to visit, things to do and places to go. More than just a stack of brochures, their insight made our trip! We have been recommending the Snow Goose Inn to our friends for years because it provides a great balance of romantic environment, a clean and well maintained property, proximity to just about everything and the personal interaction from knowledgable and friendly hosts.

Arrived on a Tuesday to a room ready and waiting on us. Cyndee and Ron are the owners and inn keepers. Coffee and tea were available at 7:30 each morning in the kitchen. Breakfast was served from an available menu at 8:80. Breakfast was prepared to order each morning by Cyndee. Cyndee attended and graduated Culinary school. The breakfast muffins and bacon are out of this world. The menu included Hot Fresh Blueberry Muffins that were baked fresh at the inn each morning, fresh fruit, eggs to order, bacon, sausage hot cakes and more. Each morning at breakfast Cyndee took a personal interest in our plans and offered recommendations as well as answered any questions we had about shopping, sights to see or getting around Vermont.
