Comfortable home away from home

I have been visiting Chestertown for over 30 years to see my parents, and have stayed in many hotels and B&B's. I now come to see my mother at Heron Point and need a place to unwind, relax, and be able to count on a restful night's sleep. The innkeepers, Cheryl and David, are delightful and have gone out of their way to make sure my stay is pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is a substantial feast, tasty and nourishing. Simply Bed and Bread will now be my preferred place to stay while I am in Chestertown.

Simply the best!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about the wonderful experience we enjoyed during the 3 nights we spent at Simply Bed & Bread last month. This charming B & B is very clean, peaceful, comfortable, and convenient. Cheryl is a cheerful hostess, and relishes making a variety of scrumptious, and imaginative breakfasts each morning. Daily, there are amazing, freshly baked sweet breads, and cookies. One day we even lucked into some great homemade ice cream. David and Cheryl are pleasant, polite, helpful, and just the perfect hosts to stay with in historic, and beautiful Chestertown. We highly recommend Simply Bed & Bread. Linda and Tom L.

Like visiting with relatives

The Hoopes' were welcoming, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Before arriving, Cheryl Hoopes asked what we like to eat, read and do to help make our visit more enjoyable, which was very thoughtful. When we arrived to check in, she had home-baked cookies and fresh coffee waiting for us. It really felt like we were visiting relatives. And, the 4-course breakfast was delicious!
