We stayed here for five nights in August 2009. The place is beautiful, the suite was excellent- two bedrooms, very clean and comfortable. The innkeepers Brenda and John were very helpful, they have two lovely kids who are just starting to get stuck in helping giving the place a lovely family feel. We were really glad that we stayed there.

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.

We had family visiting from out of state & wanted a place near Yosemite where we could rest our heads AND have a chance to eat together & play cards that wouldn't break the bank. The 2 suites that make up the cabin where everything we could have wanted. Comfy, nicely appointed, spacious & private. The grounds are beautiful & it was quiet at night. John & Brenda were wonderful, helpful hosts who made us feel right at home. One bonus was an up-to-date & varied DVD lending library which gave our teenagers something to do in the evenings. Breakfast was served in the charming lodge dining area: a nice array of muffins, cinnamon rolls, cereals, bagels, fruit, cottage cheese, juices, coffee & teas. We hope to return soon!

Minimum Stay Requirements:	Two-night minimum on weekends and holidays of peak season and a two-night minimum all during the off-peak season.
Children Restrictions:	The Garden and Rose suites both have two bedrooms and well behaved childen over 5 are welcome. Children of all ages are welcome guests in the Oak Suite, Pine Suite and Cabin House
Cancellation:	Cancellation Policy Season & Holidays If it is necessary to cancel a reservation, there will be a $25.00 cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date. If a reservation is cancelled less than 14 days before the scheduled arrival time, the innkeepers will diligently try to re-rent out the suite. If we are successful in re-renting out the suite for the original booking dates, the canceling guest will only be charged one night's base rent as a cancellation charge. If the innkeepers are unable to re-rent out the cancelled suite, the canceling guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of guests' actual arrival or departure date. A gift certificate to the Sierra Mountain Lodge will be sent to the canceling guests for the amount charged minus the first night's rent and a $25.00 per additional night cancellation fee. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of guests' actual arrival or departure date. Off-Season The same cancellation policy above applies but with a 48 hours cancellation period. This is due to the ever changing winter weather in the Sierra’s.
