Romantic Interest
The ambiance of the rooms as well as the inn throughout. The attention to detail and special amenities for special occasions (champagne & chocolate for Valentines, weddings, anniversaries)
Historic Interest
Built in 1887 for Capt. Brandt by master shipbuilder Fred Butterfield. The Capt. included a balcony for his wife, Ida, to stand and view the ships coming in and out of the bay. The vents on the skirting are portholes design. Stained glass windows, a stairway with two landings, very unique, curved moulding, and two unique archways are some of the features that draw many comments by visitors.
