Shelburne is a quiet town in the northeast corner of the White Mountains, at the entrance to Mt. Washington Valley. Shelburne is home to the oft photograghed Shelburne Birches - a memorial forest dedicated to the men and women from the area in service to our country. The Appalachian Trail crosses Route 2 in Shelburne and other hiking trails abound. Grand Falls can be seen from Route 2 when rain has been plentiful.
