Originally a stagecoach stop in the early 1800s, this immaculately renovated barn became the home of inventor Anson Clark, famous for the glass slide used in early photography. In 1987, the barn was renovated, and additions were built to create this cozy inn. Situated on more than three acres in the heart of the Berkshires, the inn offers all of the modern amenities of luxury lodging, while maintaining many of the characteristics of the original building. The on-site restaurant, the Cafe, offers a 125-seat outdoor deck with its own pavilion kitchen and bar. The Cafe is known for its great barbecue, salad bar, grilled fish and unique pizza concoctions.
