Kusenberger Log Cabin

The Kusenberger Log Cabin, a cozy and romantic bed and breakfast built at Settlers Crossing in 1850, is now the oldest house built by the settlers outside of Fredricksburg Texas. The cabin has the original stone floors, a setting room with a large fireplace, with a small loft above it and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Pioneer Log Cabin

The two foot thick walls, gun slot windows in front, and stone terrace give it old world charm. Baag Farm House

This wonderful home was built as a wedding present for a descendent of the original settlers. The spacious rooms (the dining room accommodates eight) have tall ceilings and are complimented with antiques and, like the other homes at Settlers Crossing, the interior design is by Marcia Bland Brown. Inviting white wicker furniture on the porch sets off the blue house with white trim. Relax on the front porch and you might get a glimpse of some deer. Take a stroll during the Spring and enjoy the abundant wildflowers. Bohl Log Cabin
