For relaxation and gracious accommodations, this modern cedar Northwest lodge boasts a tranquil setting on the north shore of Puget Sound's Hood Canal. Sit on the porch, read a book in the library or chat by the river rock fireplace. Stay in the spacious King Room suite featuring a canopy bed, fireplace, oversized Jacuzzi, fireplace and private deck with a water view. Other well-appointed rooms and cottages are also available. A satisfying breakfast is served daily in the dining room or cheery sun room. Gourmet dinners are arranged in advance. Walk on the beach or soak in the hot tub. Watch the salmon in nearby Belfair State Park or play golf at several local courses. Ride off-road vehicles or bikes on trails at a recreational park.

Historic Interest

This is a new structure built on a site that was a regular gathering place for local Indian Tribes. The Indian word selah means "smooth, still waters" and dulalip means "at the end of the bay." The Hebrew word selah means "pause, to be still, be at peace."
