Circa 1791. The Sedgwick Inn sits on 12 acres in the Taconic Valley in the Berkshire Mountains. The main house features guest rooms, the low-ceilinged Coach Room Tavern and a glass-enclosed dining porch facing an English garden. A Colonial-style motel behind the main house sits beside a rushing brook. A converted carriage house with a hardwood dance floor and hand-hewn beams serves as a gift shop with prints, paintings, sculptures and a selection of unusual crafts and gourmet items.
