Circa 1834. Listed in the National Register, this Italianate home sits on a small hill in the scenic Adirondacks surrounded by blue spruce, hemlocks and fir trees. Noted author James Fenimore Cooper stayed here during the 1830s. Relax and enjoy afternoon tea on the wraparound porch or in the living room. Renovated and refurbished, antiques and contemporary furnishings reside comfortably together, fusing the old and the new in spacious guest bedrooms and suites. In-room massage is available. A satisfying breakfast is served in the casually elegant ambiance of the dining room. Visit the historic sites of Fort William Henry and Ticonderoga.
