The town of Glastonbury, in Hartford County, Connecticut, was established in 1693. Glastonbury sits on the banks of the Connecticut River. Its rolling hills provide a spectacular view of the city of Hartford's skyline. Glastonbury happens to have one of Connecticut's largest forests, the Meshomasic State Forest.
