Jersey Shore has always been popular for people who love long and powdery white beaches. However, aside from the beach itself, it also has several attractive locations including the borough of Sea Girt. This small town covers the area stretching from the Wreck Pond and Stockton Lake. The rest of Sea Girt has been developed except its southernmost portion where the State Police Academy and National Guard Camp can be found. Upon entering the town, visitors may pass beautiful Spring Lake. The Wreck Pond Bridge deserves to be captured on camera. The Sea Girt Light, a lighthouse built in 1896, is also an interesting photography subject. Visitors may see the Intelligent Whale, an experimental submarine built in accordance to an 1863 design.
