You can find the wonderful community of Sasabe in the picturesque Altar Valley on the southern part of Pima County in the state of Arizona. Near Sasabe is El Sasabe which is famous because of its ancient adobe brickyards. If you are planning a refreshing get away for you and the family, Sasabe is the place to be. This community is also visited because of the celebrated Rancho de la Osa, a guest ranch which houses ranch structures dating as far back as the 17th century. Some of the notable guests that this historic ranch has had were Presidents LBJ and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Aside from historic buildings, one of the many Sasabe attractions include the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and the Baboquivari Peak Wilderness which has been one of the favorite destinations of tourists and mountain climbers alike. Sasabe is a border community located in the Altar Valley in Pima County, Arizona. Despite its being small, and unincorporated, the importance of Sasabe lies in the fact that it provides a minor and less-used border crossing between Mexico and the United States. The community was established by the Spanish who colonized Mexico and much of Arizona. Sasabe is surrounded by the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge has also become a frequently visited spot since it offers visitors a view of the many exotic wildlife creatures endemic only in the place and south of the border. By Rancho De La Osa.
