Circa 1885. Perched on a hilltop where the Hudson River and Sacanda River meet, this romantic Queen Anne Victorian is conveniently located between nearby Lake George and Saratoga Springs. Guest bedrooms in the Mansion feature High Victorian style decor with original stained-glass windows, hardwood floors and period antiques. The adjacent Carriage House boasts two accommodations. One reflects an Adirondack lodge with log walls and a floor-to-ceiling river-stone fireplace; the other has Southwestern art and furnishings. Hot tubs are in two suites as well as on two private decks overlooking the gardens with a gazebo, waterfall, koi ponds and pristine landscaping. A complete breakfast may include Colorado Eggs Benedict, Toasted Almond French Toast and Italian Frittata. Fine dining is available in candle-lit rooms and on a lantern-lit porch.
