My family and I loved our stay at the Sandbar B&B! It was all that we had hoped for and more! The room was clean and cozy and Cara was very helpful. She gave us great recommendations for dining and activities! This was our best vacation yet, and I highly recommend The Sandbar to anyone traveling to the Outer Banks. It was like home away from home and we cannot wait to return for another stay next year!

Sandbar Bed and Breakfast, located on the superb Outer Banks of North Carolina offers a three-story beach cottage in the center of Nags Head and within an easy stroll to the water. There are three guest rooms. Breakfast is continental and there is always a bowl of fruity and often wine and cheese and crackers are served in the evening. If you are a newcomer to the Outer Banks, Cara the innkeeper is a source of all you need to know including when to watch the sunrise. The soft sand of the beach is just across the beach road. Enjoy the area's restaurant within a short walk. Just be sure to book long enough to take it all in.
