The Empire-style, ornately carved four-poster queen-size bedstead is the focal point of this handsome room. Classic dark mahogany furnishings and detailed period paneling take you back to an era of luxurious living. This room at the front of the house, has been named for the original owner of the house, Samuel Durfee. The private bathroom with shower is appointed with a separate vanity area. 
This stunning room features a queen-size mahogany four-poster rice bedstead and has been named after the famous Newport lighthouse keeper, Ida Lewis. The private deck, a perfect retreat for morning coffee and afternoon relaxation, overlooks the rear garden and carriage house. The bright private bathroom has a pedestal sink and shower.
This peaceful room at the rear of the house is furnished in the French style. The elegant Jacquard draperies accent the ornate white wrought iron beds, which can be, made up as two twin beds or a king bed. This room is named after Newport's famous heiress, Doris Duke. The private bathroom has a shower.
