Description

Circa 1774. The oldest house in Bennington Village presents old world charm, modern amenities, a convenient location, and a bit of night life. The café is open to the public on weekend evenings allowing for social energy and opportunities; guests of the inn may choose a complimentary martini or dessert from the extensive list. Beer and wine are served with cheese, fruit, and crackers all other nights of the week. Three richly-appointed guest rooms offer queen-size beds, hardwood floors, comfortable seating, and private bathrooms. Modern touches include cable television, air conditioning, and free wireless Internet. The cozy parlor features dark wood paneling and a fireplace whereas the contrasting enclosed porch is filled with sunlight streaming through spacious windows. As an inn that focuses more on appetizers and aperitifs than morning meals, continental breakfast baskets are available for a small extra fee. The inn is open for appetizer, drink, and dessert parties for up to 50 people.

Wonderful Experience!

My Wife and I stayed at the Inn one weekend in the middle of August and just loved it! It was just what we were looking for. We enjoyed some martini's at night and ate our Breakfast Basket the next day. The option of a basket and the late check-out of noon was perfect for us, as we are not early risers. Over all, a great experience!

Unique & Different

Definitely not your typical B & B. We had a great time during our weekend stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, we were within walking distance of downtown and the martini lounge was cozy and it felt like being at home. Plus, the martinis and desserts were deelish! Definitely a different and unique place worth checking out.

Inn with a Twist!

My wife and I stopped in Bennington on our way to Maine and found this wonderful place. A beautiful Inn with a twist. Instead of breakfast in the morning, they offer Martinis, Appetizers and Desserts in the evening! A great idea and they were the most gracious hosts! John and Lisa made us feel so at home. We ended up having Martinis before and after dinner. We are so glad we stopped for the night, and we will definitely be back!
