Description

The Montana scenery provides a breathtaking backdrop for a wealth of outdoor activities at this inn where you can hike, fish, and watch for birds in the Lolo National Forest. When the landscape turns white go cross country skiing or snowmobiling then snuggle in the great room by the crackling fire. or in warmer weather relax and rejuvenate on a deck surrounded by pine trees. Celebrate cowboy lore or the Native American tradition in the Buckaroo Star, Sweet Grass, or Running Horse rooms. Local wildlife may be spotted in the forest or by the pond outside your guest room window. A generous breakfast made with seasonal ingredients is served until 10:00 a.m. so you can sleep late if you wish. The cookie jar is always full and ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. Make new friends each afternoon as you share specialty drinks and tasty appetizers. Missoula is less than an hour away, certainly close enough for a day trip.

Heaven on earth!

We stayed here last June on our way to Glacier National Park. My sister has stayed here many times and highly recommended it. Man was she right. It is so beautiful and peaceful. We fell in love with Jan and her dogs RD & Maggie. She is a fantastic host and boy can she cooked. We loved sitting on the back porch in the evening watching the wildlife & also in the mornings while eating breakfast in the sun room. Jan showed us all around her property & told us about all the hiking trails & everything there is to do in the area. She was very informative. We stayed for a week and decided to stay on our way back home to. We have stayed at a lot of bed & breakfast and this one is by far our favorite. We will we staying here on our next trip to MT.
