What a pretty inn. The innkeepers showed us our beautiful room and it offered two sofas, TV, a large bathroom and a variety of amenities including a selection of books, movies. Snacks were offered from 5 pm and they have dessert until 10pm. We loved seeing the baby owls and the breakfast was beautifully presented with rose petals on the table (they have 107 rose bushes). We'll remember our first bed and breakfast together forever!

Circa 1925. In the spring, vistas of wildflowers may be seen from this 25-acre estate near Joshua Tree National Park. Palms and cypress trees shade the three-story historic stone house and the inn's Tamarisk tree is home to a family of great horned owls that nest here every year. The inn is appealingly decorated with polished maple floors providing the backdrop for comfortable furnishings and antiques. There are five fireplaces. The Great Room is partially covered by a 22-by-36-foot braided rug made by Fanny Bryce. In addition to the guest rooms in the main house and the museum, there are seven creatively decorated cottages, each with a kitchenette and some with a fireplace. In spring, the inn is famous for its free Serendipity Tea where more than 200 women join in the festivity and wear hats, long dresses and may come barefoot as long as they bring a fabulous dessert.
