Historic Interest
Originally part of a mid-1800s cotton plantation, the complex includes five buildings from that era. The buildings have been lovingly restored and accurately portray the period and are amply furnished in mid to late 1800s antiques.

Tea Rose Room
Lovely room right off the library and away from the rest of the bedrooms in the house. The beautifully carved walnut bed features the new Intelli-bed mattress for ultimate comfort and support. Each room has its own thermostat control.

Light and airy room with all the warmth of a Victorian garden. Complete with a walk-in closet and sitting area, this room takes you back to the lovely, carefree days of the late 1800s. Each room has its own private bath and thermostat control.

Windsor Rose Room
Extra-large bedroom with a grand antique-full tester bed. A favorite dressing room for the bride and her attendants, the room has several mirrors, including the extra large mirror on the super-size armoire which reflects the highly carved antique highboy on the opposite wall.

The Bridal Rose Room
Enter through a private entrance then through French doors to find the most luxurious room in the house. Walk past the beautifully carved period French sofa and chairs and climb the steps for an amazing night in the antique bridal bed. The suite has its own walk-in closet and a large bathroom that features a lovely clawfoot tub, shower and two sink/vanities.

Cherokee Rose Cabin
The authentic 1848 Texas log cabin has been restored and decorated to be one of the most popular rooms on the plantation. Comfortable in all seasons with central air and heat, it sits across the drive from the main house and features its own kitchenette.
