We have made this exceptioanl B&B our Valentine's Day weekend refuge every year for the last 7 years. Spending those quiet moments alone in a nice hot jacuzzi, or in front of a warm fireplace will bring on those romantic feelings that come when you finally get a little time alone, for just for the two of you. Once you've discovered the beautiful countryside, the great restaurants, and fun shopping areas within just a short ride - you'll know where to spend your afternoons. But, for goodness sake, whatever you do, don't miss Dawn's magnificent breakfast. Multiple courses to please even the most demanding taste buds. Don't miss the chance to make a "romantic memory" for the both of you - You won't regret it!
Innside Tip:
"Restaurants in the area"
There are quite a few to choose from in the area and Dawn can guide you. If you ask her, she will even make the reservations for you in advance.
But, if you get the chance I would highly recommend Quivey's Grove on the west side of Madison - terrific food and very quaint atmosphere - very romantic - she'll love it.
I would suggest you request the private roome for two in the main house. Or, if there is another couple they can accomidate four in that same room.
The appetizers, entree's, and desserts are all great - it is tough to go wrong whatever you choose.
Enjoy!!
