Romantic and Peaceful

We stay at the Inn whenever we come to Newport to visit. When we first moved to TN, the mansion was empty and falling apart so we were happy to see it turned into a B&B. We supported it in every way and we frequently ate dinner there -- Chef Karen Valentine is still there and better than ever! We SO enjoy the atmosphere, the scenery, and wonderful breakfasts and dinners, and the overall ambiance. My husband and I enjoy playing pool in the game room and that's about as romantic as this old married couple get! This is a GREAT place for couples of all types and ages, honeymooners and old married folks like us! Come see for yourself!

"Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge close by"
Stay here instead of the more touristy Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge hotels - you'll enjoy getting away from all the activity in those other towns. You can enter the Smoky Mountains via nearby Cosby, too, if hiking and the outdoors is your thing. The Inn people will suggest hiking trails for you. Explore Newport, too, and don't let the Outsider's Inn TV show scare you away! I lived in Newport for 11 years and loved it and I come back frequently to visit friends and nearly always stay here.
